It has been a long, semi-relaxing/semi-hectic weekend, and I am so thrilled to be back in action. What better way to start of the week with a new, totally awesome, mom blogger! Meet Karen, a SAHM to to 2 little girls, a proud wife, and an awesome frugalista! Her blog, Koupon Karen (formerly known as Frugal Rhode Island Mama), is a portal full of some great money saving 411!

Karen entered the world of frugality shortly after the birth of her second daughter, right along with the time they needed some serious repairs on their home. Cash was an issue, but the repairs needed to be completed, so Karen began to take up couponing in order to save some cash! At first she was borderline obsessed, yet eventually that obsession turned into a lifestyle- and people wanted to know how they too could life a life of frugality. At this point, Karen decided to start a blog so that her friends and family could follow her on her journey to a frugal life. Little did she know, she would soon be a role model to money saving moms everywhere. Next thing she knew, her following had grown exponentially and people were really learning from her. Karen was thrilled with the thought that she was helping so many people save money, and she kept on growing her blog and sharing her frugal ways. On the Koupon Karen blog you will learn how to save money in certain places, so that you have more fun money to spend on things you enjoy. She teaches her readers how to use coupons, shop sales, and tells them about extra ways they can make a buck!
